Well, I will no longer be doing PC support for ADS anymore..............I got fired.
Haha not. Actually they're moving me into a new position they're creating, "E-Commerce Specialist." where I'm basically in charge of all electronic invoicing and automation. They're eventually going to have me develop more advanced systems to track our shipments using RFIDs. Sounds fun to me. I'm sure there will be a lot more involved, as I basically have complete control over how the system is created and how it works since this is new to everyone there.
I have lunch scheduled with the bosses tomorrow to talk about it. A welcome change to answering phones and troubleshooting mundane WIndows problems. Once I've gotten my bachelor's I could take the position fulltime with all the goodies.
I'll have to say this has been one of the better weeks of my life that I can remember. Seems my future is slowing filling itself in for the most part. I still see myself as being a "crazy cat man" akin to the Simpsons "crazy cat lady" so I'll wind up spending most of my bank on a house, cars, and cats I suppose. The cats can be my substitute family, heh.
Things are happening fast, let the Jim dynasty begin.
