Attended my first department meeting today and discovered that one of the few times our IT manager has talked to the President as well as our CEO that they were pushing pretty hard for the position I'm about to create and fill to be made. Sweet. One of my current bosses joked that they'll probably know my name before his and he's been there 5+ years.
Every now and then I just take a look at this and I keep motivated to kicking ass at my job.
Sweet.
Time to go drinking now.
