The MPAA/RIAA is suing some OSU students (among other universities) for file sharing on the Internet2.
You realize suing a few kids here and there isn't going to stop anything. If you want to stop the problem go after the groups who do the initial releasing of the movies. Unfortunately they just aren't good enough to catch these groups. The RIAA/MPAA is always a few steps behind and will never catch up, so lets sue some students.
For those of you who do engage in filesharing, please, practice safe filesharing by using PeerGuardian 2. It blocks agencies who try to find filesharers so they won't even be able to connect to you and have evidence that you were distributing, it can also block out popular adware/spyware sites and advertisements and many government agency IP addresses. It's quite handy.
