Researchers as the university of Saskatchewan claim that chemicals abundant in marijuana can help with neurogenesis (brain cell regrowth) in the area of the brain responsible for learning and memory, as well as anxiety and depression.
“Most ‘drugs of abuse’ suppress neurogenesis,” Zhang says. “Only marijuana promotes neurogenesis.”
“This is a very potent cannabinoid oil,” Zhang says. “It’s not something that would be available on the street.” Doh! Looks like we should invest in raising more potent strains of pot.
